Andrew Wood (British Diplomat)

Sir Andrew Wood met US Senator John McCain in Nov, 2016 at a conference after the election and discussed the Steele dossier. McCain subsequently obtained a copy and gave it to James Comey, Director of the FBI on Dec. 9, 2016. It was used by the FBI to obtain FISA warrants to spy on Trump foreign policy advisor Carter Page.
